Pastor Belinda Jones' primary responsibility as a Teacher and Pastor is to love and equip God's people to finish Christ's work and build up his church, the body of Christ.  Her goal is to meet this responsibility until all come to unity in the faith and knowledge of God's Son, mature and abundantly grow in the Lord, and measure up to the full stature of Christ.  Pastor Belinda believes that when we will no longer be like children, forever changing our minds about what we believe because someone has cleverly lied to us and make the lie sound like the truth.  Instead, we will hold to God's truth in love, becoming more and more in every way like Christ who is the head of his body, the church.  Under his direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly.  As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy, growing and full of love in Christ.

Pastor's Belinda's mission is to assist the empowerment of the body of Christ to walk in the anointing and authority Christ our savior had died to give us.  She and her husband, Pastor Elliott Jones, consider themselves as rehabbers, i.e. they enjoy building up property that society has deemed worthless and making it new again.  Just as we look at housing so do we look at God's people, i.e. we desire to build them up as well, in the Lord.

Pastor Belinda spent most of her childhood and adult life in the Church of God In Christ.  God called her to teach at a young age and her first teaching experience was as a teenager in her church's Sunday School.  After attending the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, where she majored in Child Psychology and Communications, she owned her own childcare business.  Even later, Pastor Belinda assisted her husband Elliott as Youth Pastor for 10 years.  After teaching for many years, the Lord called Pastor Belinda and Pastor Elliott to start Walking In The Spirit Ministries, The Teaching Ministries of Elliott and Belinda Jones. After being called to this ministry the Lord led Pastor Belinda to facilitate God's Daughters, a Christian women's group that educates women on their authority and covenants with God, and to head the Youth and Children's Ministry of Walking In The Spirit.
